![]() The Sub n Up has two EQ suites which can change the EQ of the high and low octaves, plus a third which controls the input signal the pedal sees (set a low shelf EQ so it only adds octaves to low notes for example). The Flashback 2 has all of those plus the option to set the MASH parameters in the same way as the knob editing - up to three parameters at once again. You can control the start and end points of the control curve too. This means you can set it to affect two parameters inversely, for example, or set a fixed delay time and feedback and use those to control a modulation option instead. ![]() You can also change what each of the three controls affects - each control can change up to three parameters at a time and you have control over the curves at 5 points of the dial for all three parameters. ![]() I believe the modulation also has limited EQ control so you can create hi-band flangers and similar. There are some saturation options for the tape delay presets. There are also EQ options for the delay in the form of hi and low cuts and a limited compressor suite so you can either 'duck' or emphasise the delay with your playing dynamics.
